DiSC Personal Profiling System

DiSC® Personal Profiling

The DiSC® Personal Profiling System is designed to specifically and accurately measure ‘behaviour’ not ‘people’. For organisations serious about improving employee performance, this tool is an effective and positive way to improve communication and professional relationships at all levels.

Because the DiSC® system measures behaviour used in response to the environment, it is an ideal tool for making people aware of their behaviour in a non-threatening way and allowing them to identify for themselves when there is a need to adapt their behaviour in the work environment.

Managers become more effective when they understand the impact their behaviour has on their team and learn to relate to the different communication and motivational needs of the people working for them.

For successful results, teams need to recognise there is strength in diversity. Learning to understand how we communicate and how we like to be understood is the winning formula for enhanced internal and external relationships, increased productivity and achieving the right results.

As your accredited DiSC® provider in the Top End, Alison and her team can facilitate and deliver real and lasting results. We are happy to meet with you to discuss your requirements and to provide advice and information on the comprehensive range of products and service offerings available, including:

  • individual profiles and programs
  • management, sales and customer service profiles and programs
  • leadership profiles and programs
  • team culture reports
  • role behaviour analysis.

Avant offers accredited DiSC® facilitators, ensuring ethical application of DiSC® instruments. Avant is dedicated to assisting others in gaining an insight into a person’s perception of their behavioural style in the selected environment, and to developing questions to determine others’ adaptability.

Role Behaviour Analysis

DiSC®, the Role Behaviour Analysis™ provides a practical process focusing on:

  • the behavioural expectations for specific roles
  • comparing an individual’s preferred behaviours to the expectations of specific roles
  • developing strategies to meet role expectations for both employer and employee.

As a result, you will be equipped with the ability to define the behavioural expectations for a specific role, job, function or position within your organisation and make considered decisions to improve efficiencies and job satisfaction.

English as a Second Language Project (ESL)

Avant is currently working with Integro (DiSC licensee Australia) to develop a specific program for non-native English speakers- people for whom English is not their first language. This project is aimed at increasing workplace engagement and understanding between ESL employees and employers. Avant has delivered a number of successful pilot programs to date, involving Indigenous people and skilled migrants.
